The precautions for the use of pneumatic butterfly valves

Pneumatic butterfly valves are usually a combination of pneumatic actuators and valve bodies, as well as some accessories connected for installation and commissioning. This article mainly introduces the precautions for the use of pneumatic butterfly valves.

1. The control cabinet sends a signal that the valve does not operate. After the scene observation, the pneumatic adjustment butterfly valve is equipped with a solenoid valve on the premise of a positioner installed. The strong electric interference of the electromagnetic valve reaches the signal output of the control cabinet, and the valve does not receive the signal and cannot work normally.

Solution: Remove the solenoid valve and remove the strong electrical interference of the equipment. (Note: The function of the solenoid valve is to switch the valve. The function of the positioner is to control the opening of the valve with 4 to 20 mA signal, so it should be installed. It is not necessary to install a solenoid valve if there is a positioner).

2. After it is automatically switched to the manual state, the switch will not return to the automatic, because the force used by the field operator is too large, and the clutch is too large, causing the internal gear to be stuck and unable to retract automatically.

Solution: When the clutch is pulled, the hand wheel should be rotated back and forth to disengage the internal turbine; so that the hand can be automatically switched to the automatic state (the yellow-colored ferrule must be pulled up when the hand is automatically switched).

3. The valve works normally, but the feedback has been in the state of 100%. The groove is known by the field wiring personnel. The lines on the site are thick lines. The hardness is not very convenient. It leads to a screw falling and the wiring staff directly takes it. A long screw is tightened so that the module is screwed up to cause a short circuit.

Solution: Replace the conventional screw type; it is recommended to use a thin wire instead of the connected line.
